“Welcome to Barbados – have a nice day!”

yeah! I love getting up at 7am to shovel!!

Really, again??? We had not finished digging-out of the last snow storm when we get pounded again with another 16” – I’m running out of room to put it all! I had to climb up onto my 2nd floor deck from the outside (I couldn’t open the door!) to shovel off 2 feet of snow to prevent collapse.
Four hours of shovelling, a  looming school assignment and several design jobs to complete meant that birding has been non-existent. Not that there has been much to see mind you…a bumper cone/berry crop “up north” has nixed any incursion into our fair state of winter finches. Northern owls have been obvious by their absence, except for this little saw-whet seen on last week’s excursion down the shoreline.
